Been a while, I know! Let’s start with Nickie’s birthday. Besides the fact that she was showered with gifts we had a pretty laid back time.
:)

It all started with the best meal I’ve had in a restaurant for a while. Taste, presentation, everything was perfect!

To start with Nickie had smoked salmon with Welsh oatcakes, sour cream, lemon & chives while I opted for rarebit topped Overton black pudding on a Welsh oatcake with beetroot relish. DELICIOUS! Just try and imagine the rest of the meal! All this thanks to the Cross Foxes, one of the great pubs in our area!
